How to upload your first track

Step-by-step guide to uploading audio, artwork, and metadata.

Audio format requirements

WAV or FLAC, 16-bit/44.1kHz minimum. No MP3 masters.

Cover art specifications

3000×3000px, JPG or PNG, no blurry images or logos of other platforms.

Setting a release date

Schedule releases 7+ days in advance for editorial playlist consideration.

Distribution

How long does distribution take?

Most stores receive your release within 24–72 hours. Some take up to 5 days.

Which platforms do we deliver to?

Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, TikTok, Deezer, Boomplay, and 150+ more.

Can I choose specific stores?

Yes — select or deselect individual stores during the submission process.

How to request a takedown

Go to your release, click "Request Takedown". Removal takes 3–7 business days.

Payments & Earnings

When do I get paid?

Royalties are processed monthly. Withdraw anytime once you reach the minimum threshold.

Withdrawal methods

M-Pesa (Kenya), bank transfer, or PayPal depending on your region.

Understanding your earnings breakdown

View earnings by platform, territory, and track in the dashboard.

Why is my balance zero?

Stores pay with a 30–60 day delay. New releases may take 2 months to show earnings.

Starter (KES 450/mo), Growth (KES 550/mo), and Pro (KES 800/mo) with annual discounts.

What happens when my plan expires?

Your music stays on stores but you cannot submit new releases until you renew.

Can I upgrade my plan?

Yes — upgrade anytime from your dashboard. The new plan takes effect immediately.

Refund policy

All subscription payments are final and non-refundable once purchased.

How to reset your password

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. A reset link will be sent to your email.

Two-factor authentication

We use Google Sign-In for secure authentication. Enable 2FA on your Google account.

Updating your profile

Change your artist name, bio, photo, and contact details from the profile page.

Deleting your account

Contact support@kentunez.com to request account deletion.

Quick Answers

Is my music non-exclusive?

Yes. You keep 100% of your rights. We only hold a non-exclusive distribution license.

Can I distribute cover songs?

Yes, but you need a mechanical license. We recommend services like Easy Song Licensing.

Do you take a cut of royalties?

No. You keep all your streaming royalties. We only charge the subscription fee.

What is Quality Control (QC)?

Our automated system scans uploads for copyright issues, audio quality, and metadata accuracy before distribution.

Can I release music under multiple artist names?

Yes. You can set different primary artist names per release.
