Takedown & dispute policy
1. Purpose
This policy explains how Kentunez handles requests to remove or restrict distributed music, including copyright claims, ownership disputes, and artist-requested takedowns.
2. Who can request a takedown
- The artist or label account that submitted the release
- A rights holder or authorized representative with proof of ownership
- A DSP or distribution partner escalating a claim
- Kentunez operations, when content violates our terms or fraud policy
3. Artist / label requested takedowns
Account holders may request removal of their own releases through the dashboard takedown flow or by contacting support. Once a takedown is requested, the release is flagged for operations review and partner / store removal steps.
- We aim to acknowledge requests within 2 business days
- Store-side removal timing depends on each DSP and delivery partner
- Royalties already earned before removal remain subject to normal payout rules
4. Third-party copyright or ownership disputes
Send a written claim to support@kentunez.com including:
- Your full name / company and contact email
- The release title, artist name, and links if available
- Description of the rights you claim
- Evidence (registration, contracts, prior releases, ISRC ownership, etc.)
- A statement that the information is accurate and submitted in good faith
While a credible dispute is under review, we may pause delivery, withhold further distribution, or request the submitting account to respond with counter-evidence.
5. DSP / partner escalations
If a store or delivery partner flags content, Kentunez operations will prioritize investigation, communicate with the submitting account where appropriate, and action removal or metadata correction according to partner requirements.
6. Outcomes
- Remove — stop delivery and request store takedown
- Correct — metadata / credits fix without full removal
- Reject claim — if evidence is insufficient (claimant may pursue other legal routes)
- Account action — warnings, suspension, or termination for repeated violations
