Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Kentunez Music Distribution, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Kentunez is a digital music distribution platform. Artists and labels upload releases, manage metadata, and deliver music to 150+ stores including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Boomplay, TikTok, and others. The dashboard includes analytics, royalty tracking, marketing tools, and related artist services.
3. Accounts & eligibility
You must be at least 18, or have parental or guardian consent if you are 13–17. You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity on your account. One active account per person or entity unless Kentunez approves otherwise in writing.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of your music, artwork, and metadata. You confirm you have the rights to distribute everything you upload and that it does not infringe third-party rights. You are responsible for claims arising from your content.
5. Distribution licence
When you submit a release, you grant Kentunez a non-exclusive licence to deliver it to the stores you select. This licence ends when content is taken down, subject to each store’s processing time (typically 3–14 business days).
- Distribution is worldwide unless you restrict territories in the release.
- You may distribute elsewhere if you avoid duplicate ISRC conflicts.
- Kentunez may reject or remove content that fails quality control or violates policy.
6. Prohibited content
Do not upload infringing material, unauthorized samples, malware, illegal content, or content that promotes hate or violence. Violations may result in removal, suspension, or termination.
7. Subscriptions & fees
Paid plans (Starter, Growth, Pro) bill monthly or yearly. Current prices are shown on the Pricing page and in your dashboard. Collaborators and core marketing tools are included on every plan. Sync licensing and full analytics are Pro features.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date. If a plan expires, existing releases may stay live, but premium features are limited until you renew.
8. Payments & refunds
Platform fees are non-refundable except where a confirmed billing error is reviewed under our Refund Policy. Royalties earned from stores are separate from subscription fees.
9. Royalties & payouts
Kentunez does not take a commission on your master royalties. Your subscription covers platform access. Store reporting can lag 30–60 days. Withdrawals are available once minimum thresholds are met via supported payout methods.
10. Termination
You may close your account by contacting support@kentunez.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, fraud, or repeated infringement claims.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kentunez is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Kentunez against claims arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes should first be raised in good faith with support. Unresolved disputes may proceed to arbitration under NCIA rules in Nairobi.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes are communicated at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use means acceptance.
15. Partner accounts
Approved partners may receive sponsored or custom access under separate written terms. Distribution, content, and conduct rules in these Terms still apply unless agreed otherwise in writing.
